The Navy Band Mid-South Ceremonial Band will present a special concert on stage at The Ritz.  The group consists of thirty professional and extremely talented musicians in service to our country. Whether performing for our troops at home and abroad or for citizens across America, the group reflects the heritage and pride of our great nation and of the United States Navy.  The free program will include familiar songs appropriate for our Independence Holiday as well as favorite tunes typically associated with a military band--a great show for family and friends to enjoy together, wonderful way to start the holiday week.  Free tickets will be available at The Ritz beginning June 10th.

Presented by International Concert Artists Management as they bring pianist Teresa Walters to the stage of The Ritz with her concert entitled Musical Cameos: Great Composers and Well-Loved Masterworks.  This dazzling performance will be on Friday, October 4, 2013, at 7:00 PM.  Teresa Walters is extremely popular with audiences as she shares special insights about the music.  She has had sold-out performances across the country and around the world including prestigious sponsorships by Copenhagen’s Hungarian Embassy and Beijing’s Forbidden City Concert Hall.  Her Lincoln Center recital in New York won a standing ovation from a sold-out audience, and her performances with orchestras in Russia received five encores.  Ms. Walters has been referred to as “one of the world’s most significant pianists” and as the “International First Lady of Piano.”

From the soaring melodies of classic Broadway to the hottest shows playing today—experience the thrill of The Best of Broadway!  Hear some of the greatest Broadway hits from shows such as Chicago, Lion King, Phantom and Wicked. There was a magical moment in the mid-‘60s when American youth migrated to California by the millions to transform pop culture forever. Well-groomed folk musicians grew out their hair, plugged in Fenders and Rickenbackers and the radio sizzled with the tight harmonies and dreamy lyrics that stitched Malibu, The Village and Haight-Ashbury together in an explosion of music that was dance-able, sing-able and oh, so romantic. Groups like the Mamas and the Papas, the Beach Boys and the 5th Dimension led the way with songs that defined an era.  This is a sun-kissed song and dance tribute to the pop music of a new generation. Bits ‘N Pieces Giant Puppets

The nine-feet-tall giant puppets return to The Ritz with the familiar tale of Three Billy Goats Gruff.  The evening performance will be a great opportunity for families to enjoy the show together.  There will also be several school day performances scheduled and K-2nd graders from across the county will be invited to attend as our guests.  This is the fourth year for Bits ‘N Pieces to present their children’s special programs which always prove to be a great hit with the kids.  Tickets are only $10.00, advance or at the door.*
